Another Open Door Days were held at the Human Rights House Banja Luka on April 3, and the topic of discussion was “How to help women victims of violence? Information, empowerment and action”.
This time we presented the Foundation United Women Banja Luka and its experts and activists, who provided important answers to the ongoing topic.
The Foundation United Women Banja Luka advocates for a life of women and children without violence, as well as increasing the influence of women in public and political life through the promotion and protection of women’s human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They also talked about the work of the Safe House, the SOS telephone, the legal counseling center and other services and activities they deal with.
They particularly emphasized the importance of raising awareness among those who work with victims of domestic violence, and that this has been achieved among social workers, psychologists and others.
Each of us can support and say no to violence against women!
New Open Door Days will be organized soon, with a new theme.
