The exhibition “Face of a Defender” was opened on April 11 at the Collegium Artisticum, and you can see it in this gallery in Sarajevo until April 25.
The aim of this exhibition is to honor female defenders throughout BiH who fight for human rights and people’s well-being every day, despite many challenges.
Also, in this way, we want to bring citizens closer and familiarize them with the work of female human rights defenders.
Sara Tuševljak and Sunčica Kovačević, defenders who are part of the exhibition, thanked the organizers for the opening and emphasized that they were very honored as a young environment activists to be in a group with women who have been defending human rights in various fields for many years.
The free Line for legal assistance to human rights defenders who find themselves in crisis situations was also presented, as well as the activities of the Human Rights House Banja Luka.
The exhibition is inspired by the “Portraits of Strength” that depict female human rights defenders from various Eurasian countries, which was prepared by the Human Rights House Foundation from Oslo.
