OPEN DOOR DAYS ON AUGUST 4: Genesis Project presents UPSHIFT – an innovative program for youth

Another Open Door Days will be held on August 4 (Monday) at 10:30 am, and this time the Genesis Project, a new member of the Human Rights House Banja Luka, will open its doors.

This is not only an opportunity to get to know the organization that has been working with children and youth with tireless dedication for more than 25 years, but also to be the first to learn all about UPSHIFT, one of the most innovative regional Erasmus+ projects of today, which Genesis Project runs from Banja Luka.

This is the first project of its kind led by a local organization from Banja Luka, bringing together partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia and Albania.

We invite media representatives and interested parties to join us at the office at Kalemegdanska Street 20 and meet the Genesis Project team as well as the young participants of the UPSHIFT workshops and mentors who are already traveling to Zagreb for regional training in September.

Genesis Project will present in more detail UPSHIFT – Youth Innovation for Social Impact, a program that empowers young people to identify and solve problems in their communities using digital skills, social innovation, and mentoring support.

An initiative is starting from Banja Luka that will bring together more than 200 young people through workshops and trainings across the region – in Zagreb, Sarajevo and Skopje.

Come meet the Genesis Project team and learn how they are successfully building a network of cooperation, peace and knowledge among young people through UPSHIFT.

Together we will discover what the future of youth engagement looks like – directly from Banja Luka!
